My confidence is strong

My confidence is strong.

Although I face some challenging moments in my day, I firmly believe I can make it through them.

My life experiences help me build the confidence to proceed ahead when the path gets bumpy.

The more I live, the more I learn. I absorb new knowledge each day. Learning new things helps me to live a more enlightened life.

My self-reliance allows me to navigate whatever obstacles I encounter. When I acknowledge I am free from self-doubt, many possibilities emerge. I believe I can do anything I put my mind to.

As I resolve many tough issues that surround me, my trust in myself and my abilities grows.

If I want to move somewhere, I can. If I want to take part in a certain work project, I tell my supervisor. My confidence allows me to reach for the stars and makes things happen.

Today, I assess my confidence level to ensure I am living a happy, low-stress life.

I recognize that the more hopeful and positive I feel about my abilities, the sweeter my life can be.

My level of anxiety is low because I have a high level of self-confidence.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. If I gauge my confidence level on a scale of 1 to 10, what number will I choose and why?
  2. When I am confident in a situation, how do I feel, act, and speak to others?
  3. What changes can I make in my life that will ensure I build upon my self-confidence?

I succeed because I persist

I succeed because I persist.

I stay the course even when the path is bumpy. Although it may take longer than I anticipate, I keep working toward my goal until I succeed.

Persistence makes me more creative. I experiment until I find what works for me.

Persistence makes me more successful. I build up my accomplishments and reach my personal and professional goals.

Persistence adds to my happiness.

I feel satisfied when I put effort into pursuing the things I value. I learn important lessons and make a positive contribution at home and work. I create happiness through my choices and actions.

I look at obstacles as puzzles to be solved. I have fun gathering information and putting the pieces together. I look for the humor in difficult situations. I focus on the process and let go of my attachment to any particular outcome.

I accept hardships as a natural part of life. I prepare myself for difficulties and delays.

I appreciate the opportunity to take on a challenge and grow.

I put aside distractions. I keep my mind on my work. I limit the amount of time I spend watching TV or engaging in idle conversations.

I evaluate my progress. Results motivate me. I break big projects down into smaller steps. Each victory encourages me to keep trying.

I remember my purpose. I align my actions with my values. Having a clear vision enables me to be consistent.

I am excited about bringing my dreams to life.

Today, I refuse to stop too soon. Persistence and determination guarantee my success.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. What is the relationship between ambition and persistence?

I silence the voice of self-criticism

I silence the voice of self-criticism.

I turn a deaf ear to self-criticism. Such disparagement can paralyze me on the road to self-improvement.

Instead of stopping progress, I stop critical thoughts lurking in my mind.

I unmask self-criticism when it comes disguised as self-reflection or self-improvement. The difference between the voice of self-criticism and self-improvement is that self-criticism focuses on what I have done wrong, self-improvement looks to the future.

Through positive reflection, I focus on my strengths to create a better me.

I refrain from punishing myself or fixating about what I have done wrong in the past.

I strive to nurture my strong points and improve the other areas.

The voice of self-criticism attempts to fill me with shame by reminding me of my mistakes. I stand up to that voice by focusing on my positive interactions and successes, instead of playing shameful thoughts over and again.

I surrender the areas of my life that need improvement to my Creator.

I give up trying to be perfect or trying to be like someone else and purely embrace who I was created to be.

I exhibit grace and mercy toward myself, forgiving for my shortcomings and accepting myself the way I am. I acknowledge that I am a work in progress and I continue on my quest to be a better person. I am strengthened by staying positive about the future.

Today, I shut down self-criticism and focus on positive thoughts. I trade negative criticism for positive reflection in order to fly above and beyond my dreams.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. Do I recognize the difference between self-criticism and self-improvement?
  2. What are my three greatest strengths?
  3. What can I do to silence the voice of self-criticism when it creeps into my thoughts?

I resist settling for less than I deserve

I resist settling for less than I deserve.

In situations of desperation, it is sometimes easy to grab at the first solution that presents itself. But I know I deserve to be justly rewarded. So, I continue my search for an optimum resolution.

My talent and ability speak for themselves.

When faced with financial difficulty, it is tempting to settle for the first available source of income. But it is pointless burdening myself to earn less than my effort deserves.

I ask for compensation that aligns with my skill level.

My search for fair compensation continues until I find a source that is willing to be fair to me. Although times are sometimes difficult, I have faith and keep pushing through.

My commitment to my value is also evident in my relationships. Knowing what I bring to the table makes it easy for me to choose a partner.

I deserve to be treated kindly and respectfully in all aspects of my life.

My heart is pure, and my intentions are sincere. The only expectation I have is to receive the same treatment that I give to others.

When I encounter someone that tries to trick me into settling for less, I point out their unfairness.

I tell others when their actions are unkind.

Today, I know that my value is unquestionable. The worth I bring to each situation speaks for itself. I proudly declare who I am to the world and insist upon being acknowledged with fairness.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. How am I able to accurately assess how much compensation to ask for?

  2. What kinds of situations sometimes threaten my self-belief?

  3. How do I prove to others that I am worth more than they assume?
